Schick Gets Cut through with NRL Activation
Our brief was to leverage Schick Hydro’s sponsorship of the NRL State of Origin match ball. We got people to walk on water!
At the heart of this multi-faceted activation was the Schick Hydrating Gel Pool Challenge. Positioned front and centre in the stadium precinct, footy fans were invited to ‘walk on water’ and pass a footy in our pool filled with a non-Newtonian fluid. We also created shaving stations, a ball pass challenge and a mini TV studio to capture appearances from NRL Ambassadors including Petero Civoniceva, Corey Parker, Tim Mannah, Craig Wing, Wendell Sailor and Mario Fenech.
The event was a natural fit for social media content and coverage, while more than 35,000 limited edition Schick Hydro razors were sampled during the two-match campaign.
