Rate your Road drives results for NRMA
Prior to the NSW State Election, Maverick was challenged to create an initiative that would help the NRMA in their key role of lobbying government for safer roads funding, especially in ‘de-prioritised’ regional communities.
The campaign generated PR coverage from all major broadcasters and unprecedented engagement in both metro and regional communities. The results, announced in a press conference by the CEO of NRMA, have been essential in supporting government lobbying both pre and post election.
Led by PR, the integrated Rate Your Road campaign centred on a custom online app conceived and developed by Maverick. The app enabled NSW citizens to nominate their local roads and identify problem spots. A simple interface allowed users to rate their local roads on issues including congestion, condition, safety and access to public transport. Over 23,000 ratings were submitted online.
